Is there any tech savy guys out there who can give me some advice about this. What's odd is that whilst playing around with the controls I noticed that when I plug in my gaming headset I can hear the audio!? Not only that, but when I change the audio setting to 'Hearing impaired' on the audio language channel on the Blu-ray disc I get the audio (of course complete with a descriptive voice over - something I'm not desperately in need of). Finally I tried the PS4 on another TV and the audio worked straight away. I even tried playing a Blu-Ray on my old PS3 on the UE42F5000 and still received no audio. I tried a different HDMI port and still received no sound. I first switched between 3 different HDMI cables and still received no sound.

Video games on the PS4 seem to have audio, which means the problem only occurs when watching Blu-Rays. I began to rule a few different factors in order to find the source of the problem. I even thought it may have been the disc so I tried a different Blu ray and still no sound. Now today when I put in a Blu Ray disc there appears to be no sound coming through my TV. I managed to watch some Blu-Rays over the Christmas period with my TV through the PS4 no problem. I recently received purchased a Samsung UE42F5000 a PS4 for Christmas just to spoil myself alittle for the holidays.
